# Funding transparency

> How contributions, maintainer runway, wallets, expenses, and receipts are recorded.

The Genesis target is USD 6,000 equivalent across maintainer runway, coding tools, infrastructure, storage, documentation, administration, and contingency.

## Maintainer runway

Living runway is transparent compensation, not an infrastructure invoice. The public record identifies amount, period, source, and project scope without exposing home addresses, landlords, immigration records, medical information, or private spending history.

## Wallet safety

Only public addresses enter the repository. Seed phrases, private keys, wallet backups, recovery data, and exchange credentials must never be committed.

A public chain is pseudonymous, not anonymous. Private GitHub sponsor visibility is not anonymity from the payment processor.

## Contribution rights

A contribution buys no equity, protocol ownership, technical vote, or guaranteed canon admission.
