# Charter

> Public-purpose constraints and Genesis decision authority.

Typed Web is founder-led and constitution-bound during Genesis.

The founder retains final implementation decisions while the project lacks a mature contributor body. That practical authority does not create private ownership of the protocol.

Material decisions are recorded through pull requests, architecture decision records, RFCs, threat-model changes, or charter amendments according to their scope.

Funding does not purchase:

* protocol ownership;
* technical votes;
* canon admission;
* private vetoes;
* hidden early access to the standard.

Read the complete repository-level `CHARTER.md` for the founding laws, publisher rights, financial governance, succession, and dissolution commitments.
